I am Sampa Guha Majumdar. I am a freelance photographer and travel story writer. My very first photo tour is Jejuri and Kolapure trip with Fotorbit Photography club. It was a wonderful trip organised by Fotorbit. I am so thankful, that I get to know the group leader. I wish I can explore the world with Fotorbit in future.
I was highly excited before this trip as it was my first chance to meet some of my new friends and also my first visit to Purulia. Under the able guidance of our mentor Tania Chatterjee, the team explored various locations to bring out the true essence of Purulia. We also have lots of fun in between some serious shooting sessions. The arrangements made were almost near to perfection. I returned home after almost two days, physically exhausted, mentally elated and eagerly waiting for my next chance to explore new photographic opportunities with Fotorbit India.
I had travelled with FOTORBIT for the recent Varanasi Dev Deepavali photo tour organised by them. In the past I had traveled with many organisations, but this will certainly remain one of the most memorable one. During this festival, Varanasi remains extremely crowded, but the tour was so well managed – be it the stay, the food, choosing locations or mentoring provided by the organisers ! Not only did I take good photographs, but also spent an extremely good time with the entire group and made so many new friends. Thank you team FOTORBIT !
I, Debasis Sen, a Govt employee and passionate street and Travel photographer recently went Pingla, a village of Potochitro with FOTORBIT. This has been a memorable photography tour for me. I personally thanks the mentor of the photo tour Smt Taniya Chatterjee for guiding all photographers to get their best output. She helped me to get the best story, composition of each photograph. We all 18 photographers got a couple of good photographs. After the daylong program , our chief mentor Smt Taniya Chatterjee, EFIAP reviewed each photograph taken by us and also explained the suitable composition of each photograph. I learned a lot from this photography tour. I will be happy to join each photography tour organised by Fotorbit if my busy schedule permits. I am eagerly waiting for next photo tour.
Thanks to Fotorbit for organizing such a brilliant winter Varanasi photography tour. It was my first outstation tour and never felt that I wasn’t with my family members. I will always cherish the memory of this excellent photography tour. My sincere & special thanks to the mentor for the same. Looking forward eagerly for next trip with lovely friends.
