Our Autumn Ladakh Photography Tour is specially designed for photography enthusiasts who wish to capture the raw beauty and soul of Ladakh during its most magical season. From dramatic mountains and crystal-clear lakes to ancient monasteries, monks, vibrant festivals, and the everyday life of Ladakhi people, every moment offers a unique storytelling opportunity.
This tour covers some of the most photogenic locations of Ladakh, along with exclusive portrait and lifestyle photography sessions featuring local people and culture. Whether you are passionate about landscapes, travel, portraits, festivals or documentary photography, this journey promises unforgettable experiences both behind the camera and beyond.

Itinerary:
Day 1 ( 3rd Oct, 2026) : Arrive Leh and check in to pre-book hotel and relax. Spend a relaxed day in the hotel for acclimatisation. The first day is significant for acclimatisation at high altitude. It is highly recommended to rest and drink water regularly and not venture out during the first half. During sunset we will arrange a Ladakhi tribal concept shoot near Leh city.
Highlight of the Day :Arrive Leh and Ladakhi tribal concept shoot
Day 2 ( 4th Oct,2026 ): Early morning, after breakfast, we will start our journey ( 200km / 5 hours drive) to the beautiful Dah village of Aryan Valley for the Brokpa tribal portrait shoot. Brokpas, often known as the Ladakhi Aryans, with a significant difference in traditions and attire, and they have their own culture and heritage. Afternoon we will arrange photo shoot of the Brokpas community in nearby villages. Overnight stay at Dah village.
Highlight of the Day : Portrait shoot of Brokpa Tribe at Aryan Valley
Day 3 ( 5th Oct, 2026): Morning we will arrange another portrait shoot session of the Aryan people. While returning we will stop at Lamayuru monastery, one of the most beautiful monasteries of the region. Afternoon, outdoor portrait shoot of Ladakhi tribal women in their traditional attire with backdrop of magnificent Ladakhi architecture and landscape. On the way, we will stop at some scenic locations. Arrive Leh by evening, and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay at Leh.
Highlight of the Day : Lamayuru Monastery and Outdoor Portrait Shoot of Ladakhi Tribal Women
Day 4 ( 6th Oct, 2026) : Early morning start for Pangong Lake ( 223km/6 hours drive). We will reach Pangong lake by late afternoon. Evening sunset shoot at beautiful Pangong Lake. Night stay beside Pangong Lake.
Highlight of the day : Pangong lake.


Day 5 ( 7th Oct, 2026 ) : Early morning shoot beside Pangong lake and then start for Nubra Valley ( 270km/7hours drive). Sunset shoot at Nubra Valley. Night stay at Nubra Valley.
Highlight of the day : Sunsire shoot beside Pangogng lake and Nubra Valley Cold Desert Shoot.
Day 6 ( 8th Oct, 2026) : After early breakfast, we will visit one of the most famous monasteries of Ladakh, the Diskit Monastery. The monastery’s most prominent attraction is the huge Maitreya Buddha statue atop it. During the Diskit Gustor (festival), you will experience the monastery all decorated and prepared for the cultural extravaganza. Diskit Monastery festival is one of the most spectacular and colourful festivals of Ladakh region. After festival, back to Leh city ( 4 hours drive). En-route Khardung La pass, one of the highest motorable road in the world.
Highlight of the Day : Diskit Gustor ( festival)
Day 7 ( 9th Oct, 2026) : After breakfast, we will arrange a concept shoot of Ladakhi women in a 200 years old traditional Ladakhi house. After the concept shoot we will visit Thiksey and Hemis monastery. Sunset shoot at Shanti stupa.
Highlight of the Day : Shoot in and around Leh. Concept shoot in a traditional Ladakhi house, then visit Thiksey, Hemis monastery and Shanti Stupa.
Day 8 ( 10th Oct, 2026): Our trip will ends after breakfast with lot of good memories and images of Ladakh. Fly back from Leh.

Workshop Fee :
For Indian Resident Participants : 60,000 INR/person on double sharing accommodation basis and 70,000 INR/person for single accommodation
For Foreigners / NRI Participants: 1100$/person for foreigners on double sharing accommodation basis and 1250$/per person for single accommodation.

Fee Include:
- All accommodation (Day 1 to Day 8) in Leh, Aryan Valley, Nubra Valley and Pangong lake.
- Fee will cover all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) starting from Day 1 lunch to Day 8 breakfast.
- Mineral water throughout the trip
- Tea/coffee will be served with breakfast and evening
- All local transports in and around Ladakh in tempo traveller
- Hiring of Local guide and translator
- Arrangement of indoor and outdoor portrait shoots
- Arrangement of Ladakhi dance for photo shoot
- All Photography tips related to the photo shoot
- On field assistances, image reviews and mentor’s guidance fee.
Fee Doesn’t Include:
- Any Flight tickets ( domestic or international )
- Leh airport pick-up and drop ( will be arranged on request )
- Entry Fee to Monasteries
- Any personal habits or expenses
- Any additional food or beverages ordered etc.
- Tips to the hotel staffs and local guide
- Any other expenses not included in the list above.


CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
If you cancel your registration, then you will be refunded according to the following schedule, based on the full fee of the Workshop:
45 days or more: 50% refundable of total workshop fee
Less than 30 days : Non-refundable entire workshop fee

- Unless otherwise stated, no one under the age of 18 is allowed to attend our workshops. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- TCPJourneys is not responsible for the services and policies imposed by the applicable airlines. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for penalties incurred for tickets, international or domestic flights, not issued by us due to reschedule and/or flight changes.
- TCPJourneys is no way ever responsible for damage or loss to personal belongings of participant including any electronic goods during the tour.
- TCPJourneys don’t have any control over weather conditions, pandemics, accidents or any medical emergencies. Under any unforeseen conditions, we may have to change our itinerary. We expect tour cooperation during unplanned situations.
